Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is a day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death, which includes but is not limited to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, or the death of a newborn. On October 15, at 7:00 pm in all time zones, families around the world will light candles in memory all of the precious babies who have been lost during pregnancy or in infancy.

" When a child loses his parents, they are called an orphan. When a spouse loses his or her partner, they are called a widow or widower. When a parent loses their child, there isn't a word to describe them. This month recognizes the loss of many parents experience across the United Starts and around the world. It is also meant to inform and provide resources for parents who have lost their children due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, still births, birth defect , SIDS and other causes." Ronald Reagan

Too many families grieve in silence, sometimes never coming to terms with their loss. In memory and remembrance of our lost babies we have painted our housing Rock and we met to light candles and walk for our angels. Was a beautiful and sad day that I had the honor to be part.
